Single Stock Futures, stockfutures its about leverage

So lets talk single stock futures for a minute, stockfutures are truly amazing, why pay the full price of stocks when all you have to do is put a down payment and you still control the 100 shares per contract, whats the reason we buy stocks for anyway, is it not to make money ? well then lets put a little down payment and control a lot of stocks, just like buying a house who pays for it in full ,very few people .

With a small margin you can control a 100 shares for 3 months and you make dollar for dollar if the stock goes up and if the stocks goes down you loose dollar for dollar, just like owning the stock, the only difference is that the stockfutures contract expires, so you will have to renew it if you want to or maybe 3 months was long enough you made your money and ran ! The margin is refundable you only pay for the small commission each time you trade these stockfutures.( single stock futures )

Lets look at this with an example: ok we want to buy microsoft lets say at about $25.00 a share and we have $ 3,000.00 to spend, we could buy about 100 shares and that would cost $ 2,500.00 thats not many shares even if the price goes up, lets say $ 10.00 a share that would be a $ 1,000.00 profit right ? $ 2,500.00 invested to make $ 1,000.00.

Now lets look at what we could have done with single stock futures. The margin is about $ 300.00 per 100 shares to control that contract. Great so we buy 8 contracts that is $ 2,400.00 now we control 800 shares instead of 100 shares , now if the stock goes up $ 10.00 a share we just made $ 8,000.00 what a big difference ! or if the stock only moves 25 cents we still make $ 2,000.00 , $ 2,000.00 profit on a $ 2,400.00 investment with only a 25 cent move WOW ! thats leverage.

Not all stocks have single stock futures as of yet but more and more are coming, i will have a list of them here soon, stockfutures do not loose value like options do as they get close to expiring, you simply put a small down to control the shares thats it...

Their about 25% of the stock price as of 9-10 -07, thats still a 4 to 1 leverage.
