Groups can be charted

Charting the groups is one of the most important part of stock picking, this is a big part of my research.

All stocks belong to a group and the groups are ranked 1 to 250+-the best groups are at the top and the worst at the bottom , how would you like to be trading a stock and not know what group it belongs to and one day find out that it is in the bottom 200 groups ! ouch ! and your money is tied up there on a laggard stock ? not for me .

Once you have been trading for awhile you will begin to know what stocks are in what groups at least the good stocks that you are interested in and these are the ones that you will be watching their group, usually the top groups are your best but not always , sometimes there are great market leader stocks but there in a lower group but they are still a great stock, like apple, its a market leader but the group is not that good so in time you will get a feel for this and just know the " great ' stocks and there group.

There are web sites to rank the groups each day, I use a subscriber site because the site offer`s more information, its good to always know the leading groups they can run up for many months .

I made a template on paper that lists my stocks,it shows what rating is the stock A,B,C,D, or E and it shows the earnings for the recent quarter , it shows the accumulation and distribution thats the figure that shows if mutual funds are buying that stock or selling it, it also shows the group rank from 1 to 250 and some other important information on it.

This template is very important it shows me at a glance the leading stocks, the leading groups,the accumulation and distribution of each stock , earnings and more . This is the type of information that you need when you really want to load up on a stock.

This is where you can see the major trend and or the beginning of the next trend and get ready to trade the leading stocks in this group.
